We had the most amazing experience of hatching baby chicks! Living Eggs offer a 10-day experience in which they provide Ready-to-Hatch chick eggs along with an incubator and brood box.
Animals are, of course, a huge favourite of ours and we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to hatch some adorable little chicks! As you can imagine – or as some of you witnessed – staff and residents alike could not keep away!
Although Living Eggs are an ethical company and re-home any chicks that are hatched as part of their programme, our very own Mother Hen Carrie did her own research and found the most wonderful lady to re-home our little ones.
They now live a very happy life as part of a small holding in Yorkshire, where they have been adopted by one of the hens who also reside there!
